Students of the World is excited to announce South Korea as a new high school exchange destination, expanding the program into one of Asia’s most dynamic and culturally rich destinations.
Interest in South Korea has been steadily growing among Australian students, driven by its global influence in culture, language, technology and education. From music and media to innovation and everyday lifestyle, South Korea has become a destination that genuinely captures young people’s curiosity.
“There has always been strong interest in South Korea as a high school exchange destination,” says Sandeep, Managing Director of Students of the World.
“Being able to officially add it to our program is incredibly exciting. It’s a country that offers students a deeply immersive experience, while still aligning with our core values around care, safety and cultural exchange.”
Responding to growing student interest
Adding South Korea reflects a broader shift in how students are thinking about exchange experiences.
More young people are looking beyond traditional destinations and seeking opportunities that are culturally immersive, globally relevant and personally challenging.
