There is the opportunity to participate in a French Exchange but on a reciprocal basis. You will get the opportunity to not only experience living and attending school in France but also welcome a French exchange student into your home.
A French Reciprocal Exchange works whereby you will host a French Exchange student in your home and then go and stay with the same student and their family at their home in France. Please check the eligability requirements below to see if you qualify to apply.
Key Criteria
- Ability to host a French student
- Willingness to be hosted by the same student in France
- Aged 14-18
- Prior language study is not a prerequisite
Inbound Program Includes
Must provide: Board and lodging for student (room can be shared if same gender)
Outbound Program Includes
- Return airfare to France, including all taxes
- Two or three months’ home-stay and school experience
- Rail or flight in France to host family
- Two or three months’ health and travel insurance
- 24-hour support while in France

- Visa cost (if required)
